LI: To write a letter

Look at two of Emily’s letters to help you lay out your letter correctly.

Remember to use everything below!

Write a letter to a relative or friend telling them what you think was in Emily’s pond. Use your best handwriting. Remember to use your work from yesterday to help.

Tuesday 2nd June 2020

LI: To use descriptive language

Go back to and listen again to Dear Greenpeace.

Have you ever seen a whale? How would you feel if you saw one?

What else might Emily have seen in her pond if it was not a whale?

On the template below (or piece of paper), draw pictures of things she might have seen – a giant frog, a massive fish, a funny monster!

Label each one with a descriptive caption: a really big frog; a huge monster with blue skin.
