LI: To research a topic for a non-chronological report

Today is your chance to research an area of Ancient Egyptian life that really interests you. You could research Ancient Egyptian gods, Ancient Egyptian food or Ancient Egyptian life in general – it’s completely up to you!

You should make sure that you have plenty of facts so that you are ready to plan your own non-chronological report tomorrow.

Here are some information sheets to help you get started:

Use the checklist carefully to identify the different features of the text. If you can print the text and checklist out, you can highlight the text using different coloured pencils. If you can’t print it out, write one or two examples underneath each feature.
