LI: To confidently present my research about a chosen location

(or revisit June 9th/ June 16th)

Over the past few weeks you have chosen a location (anywhere in the world) and you have been exploring and finding out all about it. Today you are going to present what you have found out so far- if you are in school this will be to the rest of your bubble, at home either ask a parent or sibling to be your audience, or film your presentation.

Reminder:

Tuesday 9th June task:

to select any place from around the world and create an information poster about it. You could also choose to include a sentence or two about how you made your decision and why you have chosen the place that you did.

Tuesday 16th June task:

to add to your poster (or make a new one) including the following information about your chosen place: the location on a map; surrounding countries/ oceans; timezone; hemisphere; and climate. See example below.

If you haven't done this work, DO NOT PANIC! You will use today's lesson to select your place and create your information poster. If you are in school, your teacher will organise this depending on how many people have/haven't completed the work.

Think about what was good about your presentation (or the presentations you saw). We will come back to this in a few weeks time and hopefully we will see some great improvements! Being able to present well is a great skill to have for the future.
