We cannot see into the core but its temperatue is thought to be 14 million degrees celcius.

In the increedible heat and pressure, atoms of hydrogen are brought together and fused into a diferent gas called helium.

During a total solar eclipse, the tip of the moon's shadow reaches the earth's surface.
