Song of the Day

Dingle Dangle Scarecrow

We love to sing this song in Nursery. Can you remember the actions? When the cows are sleeping can you go to sleep on the floor and when the scarecrow jumps up, can you jump up as high as you can too?

Task of the Day

What can you make with your grown up? Maybe some cakes or cookies? Or you could help make the dinner? Make sure you take lots of pictures and tweet them to @kensingprimary #nurseryhomelearning or email them to nursery@kensingtomprimary.co.uk

In this brand new yoga adventure we meet a freshly-hatched butterfly called Coco.

A Note to Parents -

There are some things you can do with your child each day to help with their development. Reading a story every day helps support their communication and language and personal, social, and emotional development.

You could ask questions like:
What do you think is going to happen next in the story?
Where does the story take place?
Who is your favourite character in the story?
How does the story make you feel?
Do you like the story? If so or if not, why?

These questions encourage the children to really think about the story and develop their own thoughts and ideas about them.

Can you tweet us some pictures of your bedtime stories or daily reading times? @kensingprimary #nurseryhomelearning or email them to nursery@kensingtonprimary.co.uk. I'm looking forward to seeing them!
Happy reading!
