Real Life Maths in Kensington​​​​​​​

Within Kensington Primary School, we have staff using maths in a variety of different ways and this week, staff have been assigned to different year groups to discuss how they use maths. It was amazing to see how many different aspects of maths are used, such as money for dinner, data handling for the registers, percentages for attendance and ratio for cooking. At the end of the visit, the children created a poster to highlight the different aspects of maths used in their jobs.
