Good Afternoon Year 6!
This afternoon is your last 'school day' for two weeks, as we approach the Easter holidays. Which means JOGA’s Got Talent!!! Tune in to Twitter to see what people have been up to. You have two weeks to practise and upload as many entries as you like. Don't worry about the rest of your time off though, Miss Hesketh, Miss Owen and Mrs Heeney will upload some ideas of ways to keep yourself entertained over the next two weeks whilst you continue to stay safe inside!
Yes, this afternoon is Friday which means PE! Choose an activity from our PE page (Miss Hesketh has uploaded some new ideas). We would also like you do look at the following DT activity to do at some point over the next two weeks. Don't forget to catch up on our AudioBook, TT Rockstars and Spelling shed too.

LI: To plan to make my own bread (DT)
In the Easter story- as you explored yesterday afternoon- Jesus sits down for 'the last supper' with his friends. At the last supper, the men ate bread and drunk wine.
Within our DT topic this half term we have researched different types of bread. Children in school tasted wholemeal, cheesy, sesame-seed and multi-seeded bread and you all researched some recipes earlier in the week (Week 2- Monday).
When your parents next go out to do their food shop (or place their order online), see if they will add a few ingredients for you to try and make your own bread! We had planned to do this in school so would love you to have a go at home; you can get the whole family involved!
You do not have to make a loaf of bread, your family might have their own recipe! Maybe you could make naan bread together, or you would prefer to make injera or chapati! There are hundreds of different recipes for bread on the internet, but here are some simple ideas:
Please tweet us your photos and your family's special recipes! @kensingprimary
