Friday 12th June 2020

We would like you to begin this afternoon by spending at least 10 minutes on TT Rockstars and 10 minutes on Spelling Shed. If you didn't complete 20 minutes of Reading Plus yesterday, please also do that now.

Now for your usual Friday afternoon of PE and wellbeing activities... Have a lovely weekend!

 

 

Visit our PE and Wellbeing page:

Complete 1 (or more) Physical Activity and 1 (or more) Mindful Activity.

 

For example:

Physical:

  • Complete the 5,4,3,2,1 challenge.
  • Watch Mr Harris's live YouTube and join in with the workout.
  • Try Mr Chubbock or Mr O'Shea's HIIT challenges.

Mindful:

  • Download and spend time doing a mindful colouring sheet.
  • Listen to an extra chapter of our AudioBook.
  • Try to learn a song in Sign Language.
  • Join in with a YouTube Yoga practice.

 

Remember you can also use this time to catch up on any activities from over the holidays or any of the weeks that you didn't get chance to do, or enjoyed and want to do again! Don't forget that we would love to see your sign language songs, hiit work outs, recreations of art and other twitter challenges! @kensingprimary

 

 

During Key Stage 2, in PE, you should be covering the following things in your PE lessons, obviously this is much harder to do at home but maybe have a look at the bullet points below and choose something different for today's task. Maybe you have done loads of running, jumping, throwing and catching; then today why not try to focus more on developing your flexibility, strength, technique, control and balance within an activity like yoga. Try to keep things varied.
