Nursery

Welcome to Kensington Nursery

We would like to welcome all our nursery children and families, whether you are continuing or beginning your journey with us. Our goal is to create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for each child so that they have the confidence to make friends, play and explore.  We want to see them grow and develop and provide them with lots of wonderful experiences that help them learn as they play, while also fostering a love for learning that they will continue throughout their educational journey. Thank you for entrusting your child to our care for the coming school year.

Attendance

Attendance plays an important role in your child's learning and development. It is important to be in school, on time, every day, in order to make the most out of your child's journey! At a young age, continuity and consistency are important contributors to a child’s well-being and progress. We also believe that a good attendance routine at nursery sets the pattern for when they move into Foundation stage and their statutory school journey begins. Evidence has shown that children who have a smooth and positive start at school remain high achievers throughout their primary education and beyond.
