Welcome to 3M!. We are a happy and friendly class, who love to learn. Our class teacher is Miss Moran and we are supported in our learning by Miss Byrne and Mrs Vallance. We have a wide range of interests in our class which we love to share with each other.
In our class this year, we are excited about continuing on our learning journey, improving our reading, writing, maths and science. We are also looking forward to learning about the wide range of topics our curriculum covers in Year 3.
We were visited by an archaeologist who came to teach us more about the Stone Age. We learnt about hunter gatherers, early settlements, and how we use artefacts to find out more about the past.
To begin our Forces topic, we had a visit from Techniquest, a science museum in Wrexham. We used lots of different equipment to test different forces and investigate how forces work.
In Geography, we have been studying volcanoes. We have found in fascinating to learn more about how they are formed and where you will find them. We used our knowledge of volcanoes to create information posters warning people about the dangers of volcanoes.
We love our philosophy lessons and we are getting really good at writing our own philosophical questions. We have used a range of stimulus to prompt our thinking, linked to topics across the curriculum and beyond.
We are making great progress in our Spanish lessons. We have been learning how to greet each other, count and identify objects in the classroom.
