Hello and welcome from Mr Hilton and Miss Parry to our class page. Here you will find lots of information about the fantastic work that we are doing in 3H this year.

 

We have got off to a fantastic start with lots of eager children ready to learn lots of new things. 

 

In Maths we have been focusing on place value and in English we have already shared 2 texts- The gorilla and Storm! Learning lots of things along the way.

 

In Humanities we have been looking at the Stone Age with our WOW Visitor taking us back in time to see what it was like in the Stone Age! We have also been looking at parables in our RE and Philosophy lessons. 

 

We have also enjoyed our Swimming, PE and Spanish lessons so far this term! 

 

Below is our Class Time Table for the year- this is what you can do at home too! 

 

Monday:  

 

Swimming kits needed today – swimming costume and swimming cap (girls) swimming shorts (boys). Everyone needs a towel.

 

Practise weekly spellings and read your reading book at home.

 

Tuesday: 

 

Weekly Spelling test and find the meaning of each word and write sentences using the weekly spelling list.

Be given out today! This will be due in the following Tuesday. 

 

Wednesday:

PE kits needed today – white t-shirt, dark shorts and pumps. (no football kits!)
