The Importance Of Being A Joga Leader
Joga Leaders have a very important role in our school. The children are chosen using a rigorous selection process where the children have to apply with a letter, they are then invited to interview and finally candidates are sent a letter to confirm that they have been successful.
Their role is to provide lunchtime activities to all children on all our different playgrounds. Joga leaders are expected to collect the appropriate equipment on the day of their activity and set this up with the age group they have been allocated. They will then organise the children so that everybody can take part in a fair and appropriate way.
Joga leaders have to ensure that they themselves are the best role models that they can be and that they show and gain the respect of the children and the adults in school.
We are all very proud that they work so hard and are a key tool to support our Anti-Bullying Policy alongside the F.A.S. Our playgrounds are now much happier and active places to play.
